Flavius and I have been in business for ourselves all of our married lives. Well over 30 years. I personally have never been an employee. We love the excitement of owning a business and seeing it develop. The downside to that is the large financial investment required to own a business creates quite a burden. I owned and operated several brick and mortar travel agencies over the past 20 years and saw the decline in business due to the Internet. I was introduced to YTB by a client of mine. I was intrigued by the plan that Coach, Scott and Kim had in place. I talked to Rick Ricketts by phone and was challenged by what he had to say. Flavius and I flew to one of Rick's meetings and were sold immediately. It has been the best business decision, by far that we have ever made.
Flavius owns a very successful construction business and has provided well for our family. But his days are very long stressful. Our goal is for us to be able to work YTB together full time. Rick's advice to me was "this is all about leadership". We took Rick's advice from day one and he has led us by example. We are blessed to be a part of YTB.
